| Before your move date: |
| 1. Make a "To Do" checklist. Notify postal service and others of new |
| address. Schedule phone and utility disconnects and reconnects. |
| 2. Pack a suitcase / box (marked open ASAP) for each member containing |
| daily essentials such as: clothing, grooming items, prescriptions, |
| telephones, remotes, clocks, bed linens, pillows, towels, etc. |
| 3. Decide what to move and what not to move and who will move what. |
| 4. Make up a floor plan and decide where you want your furniture placed. |
| 5. Move or dispose of paints, solvents, insecticides, gas, motor oils, etc. |
| 6. Complete all packing before the movers arrive. Pack fragile, breakable |
| and small (less than 1 cubic foot in size) items including electronics and |
| components. Disconnect large electronics, have cords tied and unit |
| ready for movers if included in your estimate. |
| 7. Make sure that there is a clear path for the movers to use when moving |
| items to/from your home. This includes ice, snow, debris or obstructions, |
| or items that we are not contracted to move that may block any path. |
| Sweep dirt from sidewalks and driveway at new construction homes. |
| 8. Have all items in "ready to move" condition unless specifically excepted |
| by the estimator and included in your estimate (furniture disassembled, |
| appliances disconnected drawers and cabinets empty, nic-nacs and loose |
| items removed from furniture/items you have requested movers to move). |
| 9. If your items are going to be placed in a storage facility, please request |
| a copy of helpful storage tips. |
| 10. We do not accept personal checks or credit cards. Please have a money order, |
| certified check or cash ready for the movers. We trust our movers with cash. |

| At your old home (Origin) |
| 1. Have pets removed from rooms/areas the movers will be in. |
| 2. Do a walk through before leaving for destination to make sure that the |
| movers have loaded all that you have requested them to move. |

| At your new home (Destination) |
| 1. Be available to direct placement of your furniture as it comes into your |
| home. Have 1 person for every 2 movers available for this. |
| 2. Verify appliances are connected and furniture is reassembled prior to |
| the movers leaving if this service is included in your estimate. |
| 3. Verify that you have received all items, in good condition and that |
| placement is as you requested prior to the movers leaving. |
