Our Obligations:
Licensed   movers   are   required   to   carry   cargo   insurance   on   items  moved.
This insurance typically covers thirty to sixty cents per pound per article and may vary
from state to state.   We  cover sixty cents per pound at no additional cost to you and
without a deductible.  Like most moving companies, we offer full value coverage. You
can insure the full load or specific  items.    If you wish to insure specific items,  a list
with  the declared value must  be  approved  by us.    Before   purchasing  additional
insurance, check your homeowners policy to see if  these items are already covered.

We    may   at   our   option,   pay   in   excess   of   the   required  amount,  provided
damages   did   not   result   from   any   unusual   hardship   placed  on  the  movers
such  as:   loaded  furniture,   excessive  weight,   narrow  doors / halls,  or any other
conditions that we determine to  be "at risk" in which the estimator was unaware.  We
do not cover items made of  pressed-wood, particleboard, items that we determine to
be  weak,   loose,   or of inferior quality  or  that had  pre-existing  damages,   dry rot,
cracks  or  missing  parts.    This additional coverage is  strictly at our option provided
the  movers were shown the damage prior  to  their  leaving,  would not exceed  50%
of   the  cost  of  your  move,   excludes any  discounts  given,   items  moved free of
charge and  is  handled  on  a  case  by  case basis.

Our   goal   is  to  provided   you  with  a damage  free move.   Fortunately,  with our
movers damages are minimal and very infrequent due to extensive training and strict
moving  procedures.   Stretch-wrap  is used by us on selected items: china cabinets,
light upholstery, loose/fragile furniture, and some antiques for extra protection prior to
moving the item from your home.  Our use of this, floor runners, carpet protection, as
well  as  other  precautions  help  to  minimize  claims.    Our movers  are selectively
chosen and hired for long term employment.   Our appreciation (as well as yours)  of
their services insures their respect for you and your  belongings.

Your Obligations
You  are  responsible  for  "what"  and  "how"  you  pack.   You should  have all items
in   "ready to move"   condition   ( furniture empty   and   disassembled   if   needed,
appliances  empty and  disconnected )  unless  otherwise  included  in your estimate.
Please  see  "Packing Tips"  &  "Moving Tips"  on  this  site  for other obligations and
useful information.

Do    not    pack    any   of    the   following   items   for   movers   to  move  or  store:
Perishables,  hazardous materials,   weapons,   flammables,   aerosols,  oils,  fluids,
liquids,  matches,  candles,  batteries, articles of extra ordinary value, documents , or
specie including  money,  jewelry, coin or  stamp collections, etc.   This  includes any
machinery  or  equipment  containing  any  fluids  mentioned unless such fluids have
been  completely drained  or the tank removed.   Damage or loss  resulting from your
packing  or our  moving  such  items would not be covered under the movers liability
insurance  unless  specifically  excepted  and  stated  on the contract (BOL).   These
items  should  be  removed (out of the movers way)  prior  to  the  movers  arrival.
